Biesse presents its new "Campus Ulm" at the 2018 Holz-Handwerk trade fair

Biesse Deutschland GmbH continues to grow: The new business premises for the Bavarian subsidiary were presented on 21st March 2018 at this year's Holz-Handwerk trade fair in Nuremberg.

Biesse Deutschland GmbH is part of the international Biesse, and has continually expanded and developed successfully since it was founded in 1997. In its initial years, Biesse Deutschland catered to the south of Germany before another branch opened in Löhne, North Rhine-Westphalia in 2001, providing a distribution network for the entire country. The integration of Intermac Deutschland in 2002 and Diamut Deutschland in 2006 represent additional milestones in the history of Biesse Deutschland GmbH's development. Since the premises we have occupied up to now have practically reached bursting point, we have been on the lookout for a suitable site that meets all our requirements in terms of size and location. And we have found it – at the newly opened industrial estate in Nersingen, not far from our current location. We will move into the new premises there, which comprises an area of 6000 m2 and is situated right next to the new A7 motorway junction, at the beginning of 2019.

"By moving into this new building, we will more than double the area of our company premises. We will be able to provide a 1600 m2 exhibition space in which we will have an unprecedented number of our innovative machines and systems ready for demonstration at all times, alongside our software and IoT solutions. We will also be able to offer our customers a highly modern training area with ideal conditions for offering training courses," explains Jacek Pigorsch, Managing Director of Biesse Deutschland GmbH.

This is just one way in which the Biesse is continually strengthening its position as a global leader. "Our commitment to this project is evidence of how we help our branches across the world to develop for the future. By providing an ideal environment, Biesse technologies are showcased in the best possible light," says Federico Broccoli, who is Head of Sales for the Wood Division and Head of Subsidiaries. The unveiling of the building model at the Holz-Handwerk 2018 officially marks Biesse's first step into the future – and it's bringing its customers along too.
