WN 6 ROS Wins the Visionary Award!

Charlotte, North Carolina, July 20, 2019 – The North American introduction of the WN 6 ROS (Robotically Operated System) is officially an “Award Winning” Introduction as the winner of the prestigious 2019 AWFS Visionary Award in the Industry 4.0 Category. The Visionary Award recognizes Biesse and the WN 6 ROS for showcasing technology that is truly “revolutionary”.

The ROS from Biesse was on display together with the Selco WN 6 Panel Saw. The WN 6 ROS was demonstrated throughout the exhibition, without the operator intervention traditionally associated with panel saws. Trim removal, strip rotation, label printing, even sorting and off-loading were entirely automated in this cell. Industry 4.0 in action. The flexibility and productivity of this cell was also maximized since the Selco WN 6 was equipped with the patented Twin Pusher Technology.
