Holz-Handwerk 2022, which runs until 15 July, is one of the first opportunities, in person again, to learn about Biesse's technology solutions and discover all the benefits of digitisation. Now in its twentieth year, the trade fair, an international point of reference for manufacturing industry, offers visitors the chance to discover the latest innovations and market trends.
Biesse Group is in Nuremberg to present its latest automation, digitisation and software solutions. In Hall 11, visitors will be able to discover how to create a connected, automated factory using the highly-integrated technologies and software solutions that offer fast, optimised production without sacrificing customisation.
"At Holz-Handwerk, participants visiting the Biesse stand can learn how to set up their digital factory simply and effectively. We will present a new machine concept at the fair: thanks to the software and services integrated into the machines, you will see how to enhance their potential and reap concrete benefits such as ease of use, time savings and optimisation of production costs. We offer customers the chance to simplify the process of creating their products, going far beyond the mere functionality and performance of the machine," says Raphaël Prati, Chief Marketing & Communications Officer.
TECHNOLOGIES IN ACTION
In Hall 11, Biesse will present three integrated automatic cells, consisting of the Rover B Edge machining centre with Synchro, Biesse's exclusive loading/unloading solution that transforms the Rover machining centre into an automatic cell; the Selco WN2 panel saw, integrated with the Winstore automatic storage solution and with the Rover B FT machining centre, and the Brema Eko 2.2 compact vertical boring machine with ROS robot for loading and unloading operations. The complete integration between technologies and loading/unloading systems or automated warehouses is designed to meet the needs of customers who require easy-to-use solutions, achieving the right combination in terms of reliability and low investment. With a particular focus on windows and doors and decades of specialised expertise in this sector, Biesse's stand also features the new Winline. This multicentre is suitable for the independent production of standard and special windows and doors with the utmost simplicity and precision. Completing the technological picture, visitors can draw inspiration from the various 'Made With Biesse' finished products, examples of creative ideas transformed into actual design objects and important productions through Biesse machines.
BIESSE MACHINES ON YOUR VIEWER: INTERACTIVE, ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY
The Biesse stand at the four-day fair will feature a space dedicated to virtual reality. Three viewers will be available, one per machine, for full immersion in Biesse technology. In cooperation with the company Signum Digital, Biesse has created an innovative visitor experience in line with an increasingly digital and ever-growing world.
THE DIGITAL HUB
Biesse Group presents its Digital World through the Digital Hub, a space created to accompany the customer along a path showing the various stages of a 4.0 factory's construction. It does this by simulating processes and machining operations, software for design and the optimisation and programming of production facilities, and finally, by choosing from the services available to monitor progress and increase the productivity of processes. Live demonstrations show visitors all the benefits of the SOPHIA IoT platform, a B_SUITE package and Smartconnection, a new software package for in-house order management, covering the entire process from generation through to scheduling and production.
Holz-Handwerk will also see the presentation of the new partnership between Biesse Group and IMOS, a global company and point of reference in the production and distribution of software for the furniture and woodworking industries: “We are proud to present the partnership with IMOS, through which we can raise the technological and digital level of Biesse solutions, offering software specifically designed for cabinet design and construction. This major partnership will allow us to offer the market a complete, high-level solution, covering all production phases, from cabinet design to production, ensuring continuous and highly specialised assistance at all times," says Ettore Vichi, Commercial Director Wood EMEA – APAC.
THE SHOWROOM NETWORK
Customers can visit the Biesse stand at Holz-Handwerk from 12 to 15 July. However, at any other time, they are welcome to go to any Biesse Group showroom worldwide to enjoy a unique experience and a complete overview of all the technologies produced by Biesse Group. The Ulm site, in particular, features the latest in machinery and technology for processing wood, plastic, composite materials, glass and stone. "At the Holz-Handwerk trade fair, we show our most interesting solutions and the latest developments in technology and software. Visitors can also use virtual reality to immerse themselves in our machines digitally. But this is just a taste of the entire
Biesse range that our customers and interested parties can experience all year round in the Ulm showroom. Indeed, the Ulm Campus is more than just a showroom. We offer training seminars and courses and dedicated events. We provide a comfortable and complete experience,” says Jacek Pigorsch, CEO of Biesse Deutschland.
In Hall 11, an interactive workstation is available for customers and visitors to the stand to learn about and browse the Biesse Group's new streaming platform (https://digitalarena.biessegroup.com). Registering and using the platform anywhere in the world and at any time, users can find stimulating content (videos, webinars, demonstrations, Biesse Group customer stories) covering the world of wood, glass, stone and plastic and composite materials.
