Joseph Bockrath joins Biesse’s as the West Coast Area Manager for the Advanced Materials.

Biesse North America, a world-leading manufacturer of high tech machinery for the Aluminum, Wood, Composite and plastics industries, is pleased to announce that Joseph Bockrath has joined the group and will be the Area Manager for Advanced Materials on the west coast.

 

Joe brings vast experience in Advanced Manufacturing, including years of selling heavy duty metal cutting machinery and high speed cutting machines for the growing composites market. A longtime member of SAMPE and active in several chapters, Joe enjoys the cutting edge products coming to markets, especially in the new all electric flying car market. The last several years have been focused on high-speed trimming and drilling of carbon composites. With Biesse, Joe is excited to expand the offerings to cutting prepreg, panel saws for honeycomb sheets and composite sandwich board cutting. Also offering advanced finishing systems for sizing and surface finish. Large 5 axis CNC routers for trimming and drilling of composite structures and waterjet cutting tables. Joe has been involved with robotic automation beginning with GMF Robotics back in the 1980s which was a partnership between General Motors and Fanuc Japan.
