Biesse has always believed that technology is innovation and hence, it is vital to stay focused on the future by all means. A continual revolution can be witnessed by transforming the language of tomorrow. Adhering to the vision “Think Forward”, Biesse has taken a step forward and made progress in the field of education. We believe, for the evolution and progress of any industry, the dynamic learning minds should be imparted with the right knowledge and skilled training. Hence, to anticipate a promising future, Biesse has collaborated with KIET Group of Institutions as a part of their CSR initiative.

Biesse has successfully established its presence in South by collaborating with AWTC (Advanced Woodworking Training Centre) in IWST (Institute of Wood Science & Technology) Campus and today, Biesse is covering geographies of the country by offering its support in the North as well. From manufacturing machines, we are now looking to manufacture minds. KIET (Krishna Institute of Engineering and Technology) is recognized as one of the best engineering colleges in Delhi-NCR. It is a self-financed institute engaged in imparting technical, pharmaceutical and management education that is affiliated to Dr A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh and has the approval of AICTE. Since KIET’s establishment in 1998, the KIET Group of Institutions has become a pioneer in the technical education domain, with a strength of 5600+ students and a rich alumni base of 15000 + students spread across the world. Due to its inclination towards innovative and skill-based education, the institute has been committed to generating, disseminating and preserving knowledge for the development of the society and to working hand in hand with others in order to evolve with the disruptively changing world.

On 15th of October 2020, a memorandum was signed on the virtual platform with key officials from both, Biesse & KIET. This memorandum has been signed for a period of 5 years under which Biesse will be providing infrastructures like machines, softwares, systems and any other kind of assistance to support the project. The primary objective of this collaboration is to promote skill training and development in the woodworking industry. To facilitate KIET’s commitment and our vision, the program has been designed for the future technicians, supervisors and manufacturers to impart relevant knowledge and training that will encourage individuals to be a leader in this industry. We also aim to establish this comprehensive program as one of the major career streams for individuals exploring entrepreneurial careers in this sector.

The woodworking industry, comprising woodworking units, artisans and woodworking related units, has also been recognized as one of the fastest-growing in India’s economy. With a motive to support passionate entrepreneurs, technological innovations and digital transformations, Biesse is hoping to expand career opportunities in this industry.
