Biesse UK Q2 Newsletter
Welcome to the second edition of our newsletter and I really hope you found the first edition useful and informative.
The last newsletter started by saying ‘the single most important change we are going through is Total Care’. I definitely believe that our current levels of orders are due not only to the hard work of our sales and service teams, but also that we make it easy for customers to own our machines. We remove the operational risk by ensuring we’ll take care of them. It’s been a cultural change on our part and a change which is now reaping the rewards of developing true and honest relationships with our customers.
Total Care has also helped us to develop our Core Values of Trust, Communication, Competence, Co-operation and Can-Do and it’s the Can-Do which makes the difference between us and our competitors. It’s our Can-Do attitude that customers value. It’s our Can-Do attitude which makes us think of the one good reason why we should do something, rather than the hundred reasons why we can’t. It’s our Can-Do attitude which helps each other in our daily activities, to achieve brilliant levels of success, teamwork and enjoyment.
The company is in a very buoyant phase, especially following a successful Xylexpo exhibition in Milan. The show attracted over 7,000 visitors but more importantly, secured in excess of €9 million in machine orders.
As a result, we will now be exhibiting at W14, which is the UK’s largest woodworking exhibition, at the NEC in October, where we’re confident of achieving a similar outcome to Xylexpo.
‘Hot on the heels’ of W14, we’ll also be exhibiting at the Composite Engineering show in November, also at the NEC, as part of our campaign within the Plastics and Sign industries.
Building on our success and hard work in Q1, Q2 has proved to be equally as good,
- So far this year sales have increased by 85%
So may I say once again, a huge thank you for your efforts and well done! I’m extremely proud of what we are achieving together with our customers, as a team.
