October 2008 BIESSEINSIDE: AN IDEAL PLACE TO STRENGTHEN PARTNERSHIPS WITH CUSTOMERS AND SUPPLIERS
1300 VISITORS IN FOUR DAYS.
Pesaro - From October 1st to October 4th, four days of open house to set up direct relations with the marketplace and demonstrate the company's potential live. 1300 Italian and foreign operators from 50 Countries.

BIESSEiNSIDE has once again confirmed the trend of past editions, strengthening its role as a meeting place, a space in which visitors are able to make direct contact with the company and the people in it, where they can see state-of-the-art technological solutions in action and develop business relations and partnerships.

Two seminars were provided: the first of these, Lean Manufacturing within the entire Supply Chain system, in co-operation with Porsche Consulting, illustrated the importance of reorganising manufacturing activities according to Lean principles. The second presented Biesse Vision, a valuable software to manage each production phase.

The Visitors were able to assist at demos on MADE IN BIESSE machines, which were in constant operation at the Tech Center. New features included the Regal Line, the Rover B 4.50 and Biesse Link, an innovative software for the management of multiple machines in a network. A good number of visitors attended the guided tours of the manufacturing plants: to the second Kaizen line (Rover A - Rover S- Skill) and to the BIESSEEDGE line. There were also constant connections with the Comil and Rbo manufacturing plants, to allow customers to visit the two BiesseSystems lines.

Among those invited to the event were Italian and foreign journalists who attended the press day, on October 2nd. After being called on to take a closer look at our company and get a hands-on idea of the spirit of MADE IN BIESSE events, the journalists ended the program of visits and seminars by interviewing Biesse's top management. A day that gave the Group a chance to make itself known to the press, and show its ability to attract customers and operators in this sector with events of considerable appeal.

We want to share all the positive feedback received from visitors with each and every one of you.
THANK YOU, AND CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL!!

Some comments from the Biesse America and Biesse Canada participants of the BiesseInside:

“The event was everything that I expected. Biesse took the extra step to show myself on behalf of Lakeshore Display a more in depth look at what your company is all about. Through the event I was able to witness firsthand, the extra steps of innovation, quality, and self improvement that displays itself in each of the machines that you build. The factory tours were very educational. Born and bred in the American ideology of what a factory should look like and how it is to be run, it was refreshing to see a different perspective on how factories are to be set up and to function. It was apparent through the tours, the work and thought that Biesse took to help set up the cells that functioned in each of the factories. Everything that I had the opportunity to witness and be a part of was both meaningful and worth while. Both myself and Lakeshore were/are impressed with the machinery that you produce, and this tour only amplified these beliefs. We have nothing but good things to say about your company, and will hold Biesse at the top of the list when purchasing another piece of equipment.
Aaron Casper, of Lakeshore Display, in Sheboygan, Wisconsin

The event was unbelievable. John Mauro was an excellent host and went over and beyond to make sure that we had a good time. The factories that we visited were a definite eye opener to things that Biesse is capable of. The Biesse plant was immaculate and gave me a new appreciation for the choice we made in buying our equipment. I want to thank Biesse for a good trip, and if I can be of any assistance with future customers don't hesitate to call.
Robert Siviter, of California Closets, in Clearwater, Florida

I thought the trip was very educational and I learned that Biesse could produce any machine that is needed for any manufacturing company. I now know a lot more about Biesse since I went on this trip and I will use what I learned on this trip in the future. I look forward to seeing my company grow and expand with Biesse's help.
Joe Reitz, of Corsi Cabinet Company, in Indianapolis, Indiana

It was a great opportunity for me and the rest of Conestoga's team to learn about the capabilities of Biesse and plan for future projects such as a frameless cabinet line. I am very satisfied that I learned what I needed to know during the trip, especially in the lines of CNC routers, Rovers.
