Brignais - Lyon 26 /27-06-2008

Enormous success of the Journées Portes-Ouvertes by Biesse France

The first big event organised by Biesse France at its new headquarters in Brignais has met with great success as regards customer turnout and feedback in terms of enquiries and orders. More than 200 visitors expressed their interest and participated in the event, enjoying the friendly hospitality of Biesse France personnel and the entire sales force of agents and dealers.

The 500 square-metre showroom was entirely dedicated to machines from the Wood Division which, on this particular occasion, included the presence of innovative solutions such as the Skipper 130 and Skill 300 FT designed exclusively for the French market. The presentation was completed with the BiesseEdge Stream B1/8.0 edgebanding machines, the Rover C 6.65 and Rover A 3.30 K3 work centres as well as machines from the BiesseArtech line: the Akron 435DX edgebanding machine, the Single 89N, the Speedy 90N, the Levia 320-110RK and the Cosmo NK. All the machines were fully operational, performing trials and demonstrations in accordance with the requests and needs of the visitors.

The event also saw the active participation of software houses such as DDX and TopSolid as well as tool suppliers who willingly shared their know-how with the visitors, illustrating their products and providing suggestions and advice for specific applications.

The excitement being generated in Biesse France’s market together with the enormous success of the Portes-Ouvertes event has resulted in the influx of an exceptional number of orders for the month of July. Once again, French customers accepted the invitation and thronged to the event as confirmation of their faith in Biesse products. Thanks to the fine modern structure housing the Biesse France headquarters, which will be officially inaugurated next November, the marketing office is already programming a series of informative events and presentations of new solutions for the French manufacturing and craft industries.
