June 2008 Xylexpo 2008 - Our thanks We wish to thank the people who participated at the Xylexpo Fair, which was held in Milano-Rho exhibition area, from May 27th to 31st 2008. Furthermore, we are pleased to share with all of you the first results concerning the visitors flow, the incoming orders and the visits to the Biesse stand. Based on the first information distributed by the ACIMALL press office “the Xylexpo NEW 21st edition reflects the world markets trend, drawing in its halls 81,980 visitors, 12.1% less vs. 2006 edition. Both the Italian participation (39,466 visitors, 12.5% less compared to the 2006 edition) and the Foreign one (42,514 visitors, 11.4% less vs. 2006 edition) registrated a sensible decrease. However Xylexpo NEW remains an International exhibition considering the share of the visiting operators word-wide, the 51.8% of the total participation (51.5% for the 2006 edition)”. Although the decrease of visitors, we registered 8% increase of visits on our stand compared to the 2006 registrations. Finally, very positive trend for the new products BiesseArtech and for Edge and Systems solutions. In spite of the world market negative trend, we can be very satisfied of the results achieved, completely lined up with the Sales and Marketing strategy.
