March 2008 BIESSEiNSIDE a Great Success BIESSEiNSIDE took place in Pesaro on Feb. 28-29 & March 1st and it was a great success! Over 1000 Italian and foreign operators in the woodworking sector attended the open house. During BIESSEiNSIDE, Biesse Wood Division presented the new Rover Kaizen production line, fruit of the rationalisation and renovation process implemented within BIESSE itself and aimed at transforming the company into a Lean Company. During the event, participants were also able to assist at a working demonstration of the door production line in the BIESSEEDGE factory, bearing witness to the Biesse Group’s increasing involvement in creation of solutions for the door and window manufacturing industry. Finally, great emphasis was given to Engineering solutions, to satisfy the automation needs of the furniture industry, through the BIESSESYSTEMS range of offers that include an integrated boring and insertion line managed by a supervisor. BIESSEiNSIDE is a unique, strategic initiative for the Biesse Group, calling the attention of both Italian and foreign analysts, investors and customers. The event repeats the success of the first BIESSEiNSIDE, organised last October, with four days dedicated to technology and innovation. We are firmly convinced that it is of fundamental importance for our company to “open” its doors to customers and operators in this sector from all over the world, so as to set up a direct link with the market, providing a live demonstration of the Group’s potential and the innovations in products, processes and service, foremost among which is the new Kaizen model.
