May 2006 Xylexpo 2006 - Our Thanks BIESSE WOOD DIVISION would like to thank all the visitors who attended XYLEXPO 2006. The 3000 square metres area of the BIESSE stand gave hospitality to costumers and visitors form the whole world. The public appreciated all the new technical features, the demonstrations on the exhibited machines and the consultancy given by our highly trained staff. During the exhibition, the BIESSE Group (quoted on the Milan Stock Exchange) organized a meeting with the financial community, analysts and investors, presenting the results of the first quarter of 2006. BIESSE looks at the immediate future with confidence, justified from the increasing orders (+42% compared to the same period of 2005). Moreover we would like to quote a press release coming from the Xylexpo press office: “The twentieth edition of Xylexpo was a great success, which was predictable during the five days of the exhibition. During the exhibition over one thousand exhibitors had the opportunity to display their products, in an exclusive showcase in the new Fieramilano-Rho. An absolute record of visitors: Italian visitors (45,258) an increase of 4.6% compared to 2004 and operators from the rest of the world, reaching a 51.5% share (against the 50.3% share of 2004).”
