Biesse at Plast 2015: experience and know-how for advanced materials
The cutting-edge technology of Biesse, further consolidated its presence in the market of advanced materials, by exhibiting a complete range of processing machines at the Plast 2015 show in Milan.
Biesse’s machines are designed to the highest operator safety standards whilst providing the versatility required to process different types of plastic materials, such as rigid techno polymer foams, composites and advanced materials. These are differentiating factors which enable Biesse’s machines to rise above the competition.
A full integrated range of machining centres and beamsaws were showcased during the fair. The Rover Plast range of NC machining centres, enables customers to perform milling, cutting and drilling operations on a single machine, whilst the Selco Plast beamsaws ensure maximum cutting precision and extremely high levels of productivity with the Twin Pusher system. Also present was the Primus Plast range of water-jet cutting machines incorporating both 3 and 5 axis multi-head systems for total flexibility and high productivity. Cutting is performed by means of a supersonic jet with a pressure of approximately 413.7MPa.
A team of industry sector experts were on hand to assess customers’ business needs and requirements to provide customised solutions for the packaging, visual communication (signs, printing etc), building (internal and external flooring, acoustic insulation, etc) and automotive sectors who process expanded and compact plastic and composite materials for filters, gaskets and moulded components.
