Xylexpo 4.0 por Biesse
It was held on Friday February 12th, the press conference that kicked off "Xylexpo Preview", the first part of Xylexpo 2016, Biennial world exhibition for wood working technology and for furniture industry components, which this year will be the 25th edition.
In a futuristic location, that is the top floor Greenhouse of the UniCredit Pavillon in Milan, Biesse has confirmed the desire to remain by the side of its customers throughout the challenges that the fourth industrial revolution.
The conference started with speeches of the main institutions involved in the organization of the fair, such as Ice the Agency for Foreign Trade, FieraMilano and Acimall, moreover, Giovanni De Ponti, General Director of FederLegnoArredo, with his particularly significant speech confirmed the willingness of the FLA to start a rapprochement process in the supply chain level, so that machine producers will work hand-in-hand also in regards to the exhibition theme. The conference ended with Maurizio Riva, co-owner with his brother of Riva1920, who, as a testimonial of the event, spoke about the link between technology and design.
During the press conference, the second edition of XIE - Xylexpo Information Event "The top exhibitors meet reporters" took place: the industry main players had the opportunity to discuss with the press of the sector and present in advance their innovations. Biesse took advange of this great opportunity in order to talk about integrated systems, machines for working panels, solid wood and new software modules which can simplify the management of even the most complex and advanced large-scale technological solutions, as well as the operations of small-medium-sized companies.

In a world where those who offer quality and a personalised touch at increasingly low prices come out on top, factories are turning digital: the machines communicate amongst themselves via automation systems and interaction software, and can "imagine" the product, simulate construction and carry out tests before it has even been made" - commented Raphaël Prati, Marketing and Communications Director for Biesse Group, addressing to the many foreign and Italian journalists present for the occasion.
The appointment to see realized the factory 4.0 is 24th-28th May 2016 in Hall 1 at Rho Milan Fair.
