Inaugural Dealers meeting for Biesse Asia
Biesse Asia hosted the inaugural Dealers Meeting since its inception in the Kuala Lumpur office as the central hub in Asia. The meeting gathered more than 30 members of dealers from Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines, and Taiwan, and Biesse sales team from all around Asia, in a brand new facility.
The goal was to offer Biesse dealers a platform for continuous training directly by product specialists, to personally ‘test drive’ every machine on display, and to have a tour around the new premises. Most importantly, it is an event that encourages a meet-and-greet session between dealers and key members of Biesse Group Asia, including the Managing Director himself, Heads of Departments, such as the Director of Service and Spare Parts, and the Marketing Manager, to engage in a trusted partnership.
Mr. Daniele Campetella, the Managing Director of Biesse Group Asia gave a welcome speech, and took the opportunity to introduce the newly appointed Marketing Manager, Ms. Lee Weina, who gave the dealers an overview of what is installed in the marketing plan of year 2015. Dealers then sat through a series of training sessions conducted by product specialist, such as those of bSuite, CNC machines, Brema, Viet, Selco and BiesseEdge technologies.
At the end of the presentations, dealers were taken on a tour around the new facility of Biesse Group Asia. The facility includes a modern office space, a 1,800 sqft showroom that proudly houses 13 woodworking and glassworking machines, a sample area of unique and beautiful finished products on display, a hospitality area for customers to sit and relax after a tour, and a software corner where customers are encouraged to test the various available software.
In addition to the showroom, dealers were proudly brought to the warehouse area where sits a vertical storage system that keeps a large quantity of spare parts, to ensure efficient delivery to customers. It was in the strategy to host the Dealers Meetings on a day before the Grand Opening and Inside Biesse Group Asia, in order to capitalize on overseas dealers’ attendance, and to offer a sneak peek into the showroom to better prepare the dealers when facilitating ‘test drives’ and sales activities on the actual days of the Inside.
At the end of the Dealers Meeting, everyone was taken to a lakeside restaurant for dinner where the chatters about the enjoyable and fruitful day continues.
