Biesse Asia – MTIB Workshop: Coaching SME to become competitive
Malaysian Timber Industry Board (MTIB) is established by the Ministry of Plantation Industries and Commodities in Malaysia, to promote and coordinate the overall development of the timber industry locally by means of seminars, factory visits, funds, trainings, Biesse Asia, being the industry leader, and especially with the complete range of new facilities in Malaysia, was chosen to host a 3-day workshop for MTIB’s clients who are mainly small and medium sized enterprises (SME) in the woodworking industry.

The 3-day event was held on 10th to 12th June 2015, and was supported by suppliers of materials from LenDecor, Jowat, Leuco, and Rehau.
30 participants were selected from amongst the members registered at MTIB, and most of them hold a high position in their respective organisations.
Through presentations and machine demonstrations, the participants gained new insights into woodworking machines with Biesse technologies, such as panel sizing, edge banding, boring and CNC, materials such as board, glue, tools, etc, and also on the revolutionary bSuite software.
