Biesse Wood Division subjects all its products to continuous, constant quality controls, thereby ensuring they are perfectly in line with the necessary requirements and with customer needs for functionality, reliability and safety. In Biesse Wood Division the quality department carries out constant monitoring of the product and all its components, using high technology instruments. Those who choose a Biesse machine are purchasing a product that has already passed a large number of tests. During the assembly phase quality controls on products, which are on average 160 for each machine, are carried out according to assembly and control cycle indications, using highly evolved methods. Each machine leaves the production line with a declaration of conformity, produced on the basis of quality codes confirming that it has passed the various tests carried out. These controls are carried out on all the machines; processing centres in particular are subjected to tests using sophisticated measuring equipment, thereby guaranteeing that machine movements correspond perfectly to the program, using sophisticated measuring equipment: interferometer lasers, three-dimensional measuring devices to detect play and “Ball-Bar” spatial positioning devices, electronic equipment and numerous measuring instruments. The squareness and straightness of BiesseEdge edgebanding and squaring/edgebanding machine guide lines is tested to guarantee perfectly orthogonal handling of panels when sliding on the tracks and during the various machining operations. Perfect squaring guarantees perfect edgebanding during all machining operations. To get even closer to the end user the quality department, in synergy with the customer service department, uses its resources to make continual improvements to the product and to analyse customer satisfaction levels.
